About This Product

■All-rounder that can be used to measure displacement and strain

The strain gauge-based displacement sensor DD1 accurately measures displacements within ±2.5mm. By using accessories, it can also be used as a strain sensor. Moreover, DD1 has become the standard in materials testing.

■Displacement sensor DD1: Measures displacement and strain with accuracy grade 0.1

The strain gauge-based displacement and strain sensor DD1 measures displacements extremely accurately over a range of ±2.5 mm with an HBM accuracy class of 0.1. This sensor is unparalleled in its versatility of use. The DD1 can be used for materials testing and monitoring, for example in building monitoring or as a resident sensor in research and development. DD1 is based on a displacement sensor that converts the displacement of the probe tip into an electrical signal. With a wide range of accessories available including quick clamp sets, extensions, and probe blades, the DD1 has established itself as the standard for many strain measurement applications. In material testing, it has been demonstrated to serve as an effective and reusable alternative to adhesive strain gauges for measuring tensile strength. DD1 uses a special strain gauge developed by HBM, so the creep value is almost zero. It can be used at frequencies up to 50Hz, providing detailed measurement results even in dynamic applications. The extremely lightweight and compact design of this sensor has also been highly praised. The quick clamp set allows this sensor to be flexibly fixed to a variety of objects. Built-in stops at both ends protect against overload, and full-bridge technology allows for quick integration into existing measurement systems.

■Features

1. Proven measurement quality ・High accuracy with HBM accuracy grade 0.1 ・Excellent measurement results using a special strain gauge developed by HBM ・Constant measurement signal without creep suitable for continuous measurement ・Detailed measurement results even in dynamic measurements with sample rate up to 50Hz ・Highly accurate measurement using strain gauges with no creep and maximum sample rate of 50Hz 2. Practical design ・Expands the range of applications with a measurement range of ±2.5mm proven in the field ・Protects from overload with overload stoppers on both ends *There are other features as well.
