About This Product

■Market-leading precision – easy, fast and cost-effective installation

A practical solution for force measurements on the test bench as well as demanding measurement tasks in production or on the test floor.

■U10F tensile and compressive force sensor: Capacity is 50kN to 1.25MN

Like the well-established U10M and C10 sensors, the particularly low profile force sensors of the U10F series use the shear force sensor measurement principle to achieve the same outstanding accuracy and small displacement measurements as their sister models. This makes the U10F load cell suitable for high-speed dynamic and static force measurements. The sensor is made of stainless steel and hermetically welded. It can be mounted with a flange connection on both sides, making handling much easier compared to sensors with a central thread. For this purpose, HBK offers anti-corrosion coated screws. At the same time, the coating provides a uniformly low coefficient of friction, eliminating the need for greasing or oiling the threads. The U10F, including its sister models U10M and C10, offers flexibility in a wide variety of practical configurations for a wide variety of measurement tasks.

High precision ・Benchmark accuracy ・TC0 is 150ppm/10K only ・Small linearity error (0.035-0.05% depending on capacity) ・Very low hysteresis (0.04-0.05% depending on capacity) ・We ensure cost efficiency by making upfront investments in the high precision that will be required in the future. Accuracy means a wide measuring range. Perform more measurement tasks using the same sensor. 2. Robust and durable ・Made of stainless steel, IP68 grade protection structure (cable option included) ・High margin against overload ・High fatigue strength even when the entire measuring range is fully loaded in alternating tension/compression mode ・Vibration, shock, and EMC tests conducted in accordance with international guidelines ・U10F is highly reliable. Weatherproof and EMC tested by HBK to ensure safe and precise operation even in difficult environments. 3. Easy to install and adaptable -Easy installation with screw connection. Install with just a torque wrench - High-strength, corrosion-resistant screws included as a mounting kit (including detailed information on maximum parasitic forces and moments). *There are other features as well.
