■Measurement in 2 seconds after turning on the power
There is no need for calibration, and measurements can be taken in 2 seconds after turning on the power.
■Can be used in various environments
It has excellent environmental resistance and maintains its performance under various environments and weather conditions such as backlighting, setting sun, nighttime, rain, fog, dust, and temperature changes.
■Small and lightweight, easy to install
The size is approximately 10cm x 10cm x 3cm, and the weight is less than 300g, making it small and lightweight, making it easy to install.
Usage example
■Measurement of tank content
- Capacity can be measured by measuring the distance to solids such as liquid, powder, gravel, etc. in the tank.
・Measurement through the tank viewing window is possible, so it can be used even when it is difficult to install a sensor inside the tank, such as for beverages or chemicals.
■Water level monitoring
- Can be used to observe and monitor water levels in reservoirs, rivers, irrigation canals, gutters, etc.
-Can be used to detect flooding in underpasses and underground malls.
■Waterline detection, berthing support, wave height/tide level measurement
・It can be used to measure the distance from a ship to the sea surface, or from a quay to a ship, and to support ships when berthing.
- Can be used to measure wave height and low tide/high tide tide level measurement.
How to operate
■Device configuration
By connecting the power supply/serial cable to this sensor and applying a 12V power supply, the measurement results will be output to the customer's device via the serial I/F (RS-485).
■Communication sequence
When a distance information output request is input to this sensor, it outputs a request acceptance response and distance information. Please consult us regarding communication sequences, data formats, etc.
