■Thunder unit air float attachment AF40 type only
By simply attaching the sander unit SU-001 to the AF40 model, it can be used as a float-type disc grinder. Installation to the AF40 type is easy with a span ring and spindle stopper.
■Disc grinder can be used with AF40 type
With conventional motor spindles, you could only use tools with shafts such as carbide burs, electrocoated grindstones with shafts, and brushes with shafts, but with the AF40 model, you can now use electric disc grinders, expanding your deburring repertoire.
■Sanding process can be automated with robots
Since the float mechanism of the AF40 type is used, a disc grinder can be used with a small robot, expanding the range of deburring automation.
■The electric disc grinder is made by HiKOKI.
The electric disc grinder attached to the sander unit SU-001 type uses HiKOKI's G10SH6. The specifications are: grinding wheel size φ100mm, maximum output 1,100W, rotation speed 12,000min^-1, and power supply voltage 100V.
