About This Product

Features

■Air float type deburring attachment ideal for automated deburring of sand cores

This is an air float type deburring attachment that makes it possible to process parting lines, thick parts, sprues, weirs, etc. in one workpiece with the same deburring attachment.

■Absorbs unmeasured portions in the X- and Y-axis directions

The air float part (special adapter) can freely move 360° in the radial direction with a maximum of 5° declination (tilt) from the axis (multi-float mechanism).

■Absorbs the unmeasured part in the Z-axis direction

The air float section shrinks by 5mm in the axial direction (axial float mechanism).

■Floating force can be freely adjusted according to the hardness of the sand core.

By adjusting the air pressure supplied to the air float section, the float force (pressing force of the deburring rod) can be freely adjusted by the customer. Note 1. Use a precision regulator (standard accessory) to adjust air pressure. Note 2. The air pressure adjustment range is 0.05MPa to 0.2MPa. Note 3. Please note that the float force will vary slightly depending on the posture in which the deburring rod is pressed against the workpiece. Note 4. Float force can be automated by using an electro-pneumatic regulator.
