About This Product
The advantages of FASTEKS KLIPKO® cage nuts are that they are easy to install, flexible and stable. FASTEKS KLIPKO® clip fasteners provide reliable bonding of a variety of materials.
A cage nut is a component with a square nut in a steel spring cage that encloses the nut. The cage has two wings that, when compressed, allow the cage to be inserted into square, rectangular or round holes. Once inserted, it stays securely in place.
■Applications
Used to attach lighting systems, electrical equipment, cabinets, musical instruments, etc. to rail racks.
■Advantages
Cage nuts clip into holes in the rack, usually with the nuts facing the inside of the rack. The nut is "loose" or "floating" within the cage so that it can be adjusted when installing the screw. This allows flexibility in mounting and assembling components.
