About This Product

■Features

The Kappa sense μFREE series linear encoder is a more compact linear encoder based on the FREEe encoder technology, and the readhead consists only of a printed circuit board, so no cable connection is required. This ultra-compact linear encoder occupies less space and increases design freedom. Additionally, μFREE is customizable, so it can be installed in place of conventional encoders to improve system performance.

■Common features of capacitive linear encoders

- Can operate at relatively high speed. - Unaffected by electromagnetic buffering and magnetic fields. Can be placed close to the magnet. - Not affected by dust etc. Most dust particles have a low dielectric constant and do not affect reading accuracy. - Compared to the optical type, it has an installation tolerance 20 times greater in the Y direction and 4 times greater in the Z direction, making it easier to install and has higher vibration resistance.
