About This Product

This is a noise countermeasure component that is attached to LCD screens, lens openings, etc. to prevent electromagnetic waves from leaking in and out. By forming a thin metal mesh on the glass plate, we have achieved a high level of shielding effect of 45 dB and the industry's highest level of light transmittance of 85%. Furthermore, due to the manufacturing method, it is easy to adjust the mesh shape, so if you prioritize shielding characteristics, you can obtain a high shielding effect of 60 dB.

■Preventing noise from openings such as liquid crystal displays (LCD)

Even if noise countermeasures are taken on the housing side, noise tends to increase from openings that cannot be covered, such as in liquid crystal displays (LCDs). By attaching this EMI shield window to the opening as a liquid crystal filter panel, noise leaking from the opening can be greatly reduced.

■Realizes the industry's highest level of transmittance

Typical EMI shielding windows generally have a structure in which a metal mesh is sandwiched between transparent plates. This product uses our thin film formation technology to form a 1μm thin ultra-fine metal mesh directly onto a glass plate. As a result, we were able to achieve the industry's highest transmittance of over 85%. The transmittance of the untreated glass plate is approximately 91%, so the mesh part only reduces the transmittance by 6%. This is comparable to untreated transparent polycarbonate, and its high transparency is outstanding. Prevents EMI/ESD without darkening the inside of the opening or the LCD screen. *The shielding effect is 45dB when the transmittance is 85%.

The normally silver metal mesh is made black using our unique technology. Compared to metal mesh that is not blackened, it can significantly reduce light reflection, improve contrast, and improve visibility.
