About This Product

■Innovative nanomechanical characterization system for various material areas

Bruker offers nanoindenters for nanomechanical and tribological characterization of various research fields and materials. This system is designed based on the one developed by Hysitron, which joined Bruker in 2017, and is designed to support the development, production, and quality of complex material systems that have become smaller, thinner, and multifunctional in recent years. We will contribute to solving problems in management, etc. Bruker's nanoindenters are highly customizable, with a variety of optional upgrades available. Bruker will continue to evolve to meet the needs of various materials evaluations, supporting new discoveries and inspirations for material properties in the nano-area.

■Platform system type nanoindenter

Bruker's nanoindenters provide high performance, quantitative accuracy, reliability, and versatility for mechanical and tribological characterization at the nanoscale and microscale. Flexibility and reliability that supports a wide range of measurements such as hardness/elastic modulus measurement, nano DMA viscoelastic property evaluation, nano scratch adhesion strength measurement, nanowear wear property evaluation, SPM imaging surface topography image acquisition function, and other fracture toughness and stress relaxation measurements. It is the best solution that combines functionality, ease of use, and high speed operation. These technologies were developed based on various patented technologies, and are capable of evaluating a wide range of materials, from hard to soft materials. Bruker supports your daily evaluation work with a lineup of equipment tailored to your needs.

■System features

・Extremely low floor noise achieved by using patented capacitive transducer technology ・By using the SPM imaging function, you can directly observe the surface shape image of the indenter used for the indentation test, and specify the measurement location with the industry's highest accuracy of +/-10 nm. ・Equipped with a high-performance controller, it is possible to analyze material behavior with a high feedback loop and sampling rate. ・It is possible to set samples of different heights on the stage and perform automatic measurements Nanoscale viscoelasticity measurement at frequencies from 0.1 to 300Hz (evaluation of storage and loss modulus, Tan δ) ・xSol environmental control stage enables heating, cooling, and humidity control up to 800℃
