About This Product

FLIR G306 is an innovative optical gas imaging (OGI₄) used to visualize sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆), ammonia (NH₃), ethylene (C₂H), and other industrial gas leaks in a variety of environments. It's a camera. SF₆ is a powerful greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming with a potential of over 23,000 times more than CO₂ over 100 years. SF₆ is commonly used in the power industry as an insulator and quenching medium for gas-insulated substations and circuit breakers. Portable and contactless, the G306 allows you to safely and efficiently check substations for dangerous and environmentally harmful gas leaks without disrupting utility supplies or shutting down industrial operations.
