About This Product

Autonomous factory and warehouse conveyors have the ability to transport, sort, distribute, and combine products during transport. ZPA (Zero Pressure Accumulation) manages the conveyor by dividing it into small zones with different conveying speeds. Each zone is connected to upstream and downstream conveyor zones to flexibly accept products from upstream.

Photo eye sensors confirm the arrival and departure of products and ensure that they are transported downstream according to transport requirements for sorting, distributing, and combining. Brake control prevents the product from being crushed, dropped, or mis-delivered due to unreasonable collisions even if it becomes stuck.

Features
■Accumulation The conveyed material enters the conveyor system and fills the zone.Once the material enters the conveyor, it flows to the downstream zone. When the next zone's photo eye is blocked, the current zone's MDR will stop to hold the conveyed object and prevent collisions.

■Discharge of transported objects using ZPA singulation (SING) modeIf the conveyed object moves out of the PhotoEye detection range on the stagnant conveyor, the conveyed object will flow from the previous zone and continue until all zones are filled again.

■Discharge of conveyed material using ZPA slug (SLUG) modeWhen a conveyed object moves out of the PhotoEye's detection range on the accumulated conveyor, all accumulated objects are flushed from the upstream zone until the next zone is occupied.

■Back-to-back detectionZone control using a combination of SING mode and SLUG mode, or only SING mode, allows objects to be transported that are closely spaced to be sorted into individual zones.

■Long object detectionMotor control cards in two zones operate the rollers simultaneously to flow long objects.
