About This Product
■Function overview
・Import page TIFF in a folder created with WorkFlowRIP in page order and create a raster PDF of finished and fill size.
-You can edit the imported pages by replacing them, adding blank pages, and adding or deleting images.
- Perform saddle stitch imposition by specifying margins, gutter, and creep amount, and generate raster PDF or TIFF images.
- If there is sheet TIFF data with saddle stitching and imposition in a folder, it will be exported all at once to PDF.
- When imposing using Facilis, XMF, or Prinergy, you can import the imposed TIFF in page order using the JDF or PJTF used for imposition.
- When importing from an imposed TIFF, you can easily create beautiful stacked samples or printed samples by outputting the page PDF or saddle-stitched PDF to a printer.
■First edition is offset printing, reprint is on-demand printing
- You can export page TIFF to a folder using the RIP used in the first edition, and export raster PDF with saddle stitching and imposition.
- RIPs equipped with APPE can output effects that cannot be output with POD.
Smooth outsourcing flow
■ Submit as raster PDF from outsourcing source (purchasing ePod on the ordering side)
・If the ordering side creates a raster PDF and proofreads it using that PDF, there will be no need for post-submission inspection and plate inspection work.
・The ordering side does not have to worry about falsification, there is no need for plate inspection, and the delivery date is reliable.
■Import as TIFF from the outsourcing source (purchases an ePod on the receiving side)
・If the ordering side creates a TIFF and proofreads it using that TIFF, there will be no need for post-submission inspection and plate inspection work.
・The ordering side does not have to worry about falsification, there is no need for plate inspection, and the delivery date is reliable.
■Imposition cutting with JDF/PJTF
- You can import the imposition TIFF used in the first edition or the imposition TIFF created for proofreading to page size using the JDF or PJTF used for imposition.
・You can use it for reprinting with saddle stitch imposition for POD, or create beautiful bundle samples, print samples, and web catalogs.
- If the imposition TIFF is 1bit, use ProofMaker (sold separately) to convert it to 8bit TIFF.
