About This Product

■Photo interrupter

A photointerrupter consists of a light-emitting part that emits light and a light-receiving part that receives light. It detects the presence, position, and movement of objects by measuring changes in light intensity caused by blocking or reflection of the optical path by obstructing objects. It is an optical sensor that Based on their optical arrangement, they can be classified into (1) transmissive photointerrupters and (2) reflective photointerrupters. In the transmission type (1), the light emitting part and the light receiving part face each other, and detection is performed when the optical path is blocked by an object. In the reflective type (2), detection is performed by receiving changes in the intensity of reflected light when an object occurs. In addition, there are various types, such as ③ separate photo interrupter, in which the light emitting part and light receiving part are separated, and ④ photo interrupter with actuator, which detects by interrupting the optical path between the light emitting part and the light receiving part via a built-in lever. We provide the format.

■Photo interrupter with actuator

The photointerrupter with actuator has a transmission type optical arrangement as shown in ①, and uses a built-in movable lever as a shield. The system detects when a moving object presses the lever.
