About This Product

Trap system with hopper ideal for indirect drainage. The EcoCute electric water heater has a trap system HC/Trap with a dedicated hopper that is ideal for indirect drainage, allowing you to achieve a higher-grade high-temperature drainage piping.

■ Air backflow prevention performance when the water seal runs out

There is no condensation water, and even when the water seal is broken, there is almost no backflow of air with the C-trap compared to when using a U-trap with piping. (Osaka Prefectural Institute of Industrial Science and Technology measurement data)

・Fan coil unit ・Building multi-air conditioning system (indoor unit) ・Small package air conditioner (indoor unit) ・Other small air conditioners, etc. *If the static pressure at the drain port is negative pressure of 1,000Pa or more, please use A-trap. *In addition to air conditioners, it can also be used as a drain trap for Eco-Cute, electric/gas water heaters, automatic air release valves, ice makers, etc.
