About This Product

Float ball type with built-in piping. Compatible with government and ministerial ordinances related to the Building Sanitation Act (commonly known as the Building Control Act). Currently, in small air conditioners for individual air conditioning, there are many cases where measures are not taken to prevent backflow of air from the drain pipe. By attaching a C-trap to each air conditioner, it is possible to prevent backflow of air through the drain pipe and prevent contamination of the indoor environment. In addition, it can be used for a variety of other purposes, including as a trap for draining automatic air bleed valves and draining expanded water from electric water heaters.

■ Air backflow prevention performance when the water seal runs out

There is no condensation water, and even when the water seal is broken, there is almost no backflow of air with the C-trap compared to when using a U-trap with piping. (Osaka Prefectural Institute of Industrial Science and Technology measurement data)

・Fan coil unit ・Building multi-air conditioning system (indoor unit) ・Small package air conditioner (indoor unit) ・Other small air conditioners, etc. *If the static pressure at the drain port is negative pressure of 1,000Pa or more, please use A-trap. *In addition to air conditioners, it can also be used as a drain trap for Eco-Cute, electric/gas water heaters, automatic air release valves, ice makers, etc.
