About This Product

■Can be installed on waveguides and coaxial cables. Ideal for lightning damage protection for broadcast equipment.

A lightning protection unit that can be installed on waveguides and power supply coaxial cables where it is difficult to install SPDs. Protects equipment from lightning surge currents by using soft magnetic metal materials that have both high saturation magnetic flux density and high magnetic permeability.

■Features

・Effective in reducing lightning surge current (common mode) at the installation location and does not affect the signal. ・Since it is a magnetic material that is less magnetized by lightning surge current, it is effective against unipolar lightning surge current over and over again. - Reduces overvoltage generated in equipment by delaying the rise of the lightning surge current waveform in the non-saturation region of the lightning protection unit.

■Installation location

It mainly targets areas such as waveguides and coaxial cables where shunt current from lightning strikes flows during lightning strikes. (*Limited to the same ground.)
