About This Product

■Summary

The ASG series is used in combination with an ASG-SPD unit with fault indication and a dedicated power supply unit/alarm unit (and surge counter unit). This is an SPD failure monitoring system that transmits the SPD failure status from the SPD installation location (on-site) to a remote monitoring system.

■Fault display function

By connecting the dedicated power supply unit and alarm unit, the SPD failure status can be displayed on the front LED lamp. Additionally, faults can be output via contact and can be sent to a distant monitoring system.

■Excellent protection circuit mechanism

We offer protection circuit types suitable for the circuits to be protected (communications, signals, instrumentation, etc.). In addition, the fault contact output circuit and power input circuit (alarm unit) are equipped with protection circuits as standard, so there is no need to install a separate SPD for the alarm circuit or SPD for the power circuit.

■Complete range of anti-ground noise countermeasure products

ASZ-Z series (noise-resistant connection) and ASG-HF type are available as anti-ground noise countermeasure products.

■Features

・The number of protection fibers per SPD is large, contributing to space saving (4 to 5 cores) ・Compliant with JISC5381-21 categories C2 and D1 - Suitable for protecting NTT general telephone lines and data communication lines. - GDT and TSS are implemented between the ground and the design allows for the circuit voltage of the telephone line. Additionally, a thermistor is installed as a countermeasure against alternating current contact with the communication line.
