About This Product
■One-pole class II SPD compatible with JIS C 5381-11
The VAL-MS series is a class II SPD that supports a nominal discharge current of 8/20μs 20kA and a maximum discharge current of 8/20μs 40kAm (depending on the model). The main body consists of an SPD plug and a base element, and there are two types of base element: one with alarm contact (VAL-MS-BE/FM) and one without alarm contact output (VAL-MS-BE).
■Failure display and alarm contacts linked to the thermal separator with built-in SPD
There are two types of base element: one without alarm contact output and one with alarm contact output.
■Features
・Plug-in type with high maintainability
・Compatible with low voltage SPD class II of the public construction work standard specifications (2016 edition)
・Can also be connected to the primary side of an earth leakage breaker by combining with the voltage switching element type SPD F-MS12
