About This Product
■Built-in separator saves space and reduces wiring man-hours
SPD Separator (Current Fuse) No external SPD separator required. This saves space and reduces wiring man-hours.
■Safety plug-in that allows safe SPD plug replacement
The plug removal lever allows you to safely remove the SPD plug without having to bring your hands near the live parts. It also provides IP20 electric shock protection even when the plug is removed.
■Reduction of wiring man-hours with screw-up terminal block
The use of a screw-up terminal block with a fall-prevention mechanism that eliminates the need to remove the terminal cover reduces wiring work. If screw terminal marking is required, this can be done by removing the transparent cover.
■Fault display, alarm contact output
Fault indicators and fault contacts are reliable mechanical types. The fault contact outputs when the SPD fails and when the SPD plug is not installed.
■Safety considering Japan's TOV (temporary overvoltage)
In addition to the TOV values specified in JIS C 5381-11, we also conduct tests using TOV values that occur due to accidents in Japan's power supply system to confirm safety. This Japanese TOV will be added at the next JIS revision.
■Adopts advanced safety shutoff technology SITS®
The newly designed thermal separator built into the SPD has significantly improved heat isolation performance due to the heat generated when the protective component (MOV: varistor) fails. This makes it possible to separate the MOV from the main power supply line when the temperature rises before the MOV suffers a short-circuit failure (deterioration state) in "additional tests to simulate SPD failure modes" stipulated in JIS C 5381-11. is.
In addition, by cooperating with the built-in SPD separator (current fuse with high breaking capacity) and thermal separator, the SPD alone can interrupt everything from leakage currents to large short-circuit currents. This function eliminates the risk of fire in the event of SPD failure.
■Compliant with public building construction standard specifications and building equipment design standards
This product complies with the Standard Specifications for Public Construction Works (Reiwa 4th Edition) and is compliant with "When a low-voltage SPD has a built-in separator" as stated in the Building Equipment Design Standards (Reiwa 3rd Edition).
