SHOWA, which is popularly known as Super Drill, aims to create products that are in line with the times, and has constantly advanced research and development based on its many years of experience and track record. In order to meet the needs of our users, we have created a new super drill that is easier to use and comes in a wide variety of types for all types of machining.
The new super drill has a standard style that combines the head and shank, and by adding an extension arbor, it is a combination system that can be assembled to accommodate various machining depths, making it even easier to use.
■Perfect circular hole machining is possible with a machining diameter of MINΦ50mm to MAXΦ270mm in one operation.
The New Super Drill has a center drill attached to the center tip, so there is no need to punch or center the workpiece. In addition, the center drill serves as a guide and allows for perfect circular machining.
We have 10 types of heads, including standard sizes A1S55, A265, B80, C100, and D120, plus large diameter sizes E150, F180, G210, H240, and I270.
■Ideal for deep hole machining MAX1,800mm
The New Super Drill's cutting blades consist of a set of two blades (rough blade and finishing blade) and a center drill, and the drilling capacity is extremely high. Chips are shredded into small pieces and ejected, making it ideal for deep hole drilling.
■Easy to process difficult-to-cut materials
The cutting blade is made of powdered high speed steel, so it can powerfully process difficult-to-cut materials.
■Cutting blade that allows for machining diameter adjustment and re-sharpening
By adjusting the finishing cutting blade, the machining diameter can be set to any desired size, so it is worth the cost of several conventional twist drills. The New Super Drill's cutting blades consist of three types: center drill, R-shaped blade (rough blade), and S-shaped blade (finishing blade), and all of them are economical drills that can be resharpened.
