■Summary
This system is a microscopic Raman measurement device that can quickly measure Raman scattering spectra of solid and liquid samples. Using a 532nm green laser as the excitation light source and an electronically cooled CCD as the detector, Raman spectra can be measured in a few seconds.
The spectrometer uses a medium-sized monochromator with a focal length of 30cm, making it possible to measure full-scale Raman spectra. Additionally, three types of diffraction gratings are standard equipment, and selection, center wavelength, resolution, etc. can be controlled using a computer.

■Specifications and functions of each part
1. Spectrometer
This spectrometer is a Shamrock SR-303i computer-controlled (USB) single monochromator for measuring Raman scattering spectra, manufactured by Andor.
2. Green laser for excitation
The excitation laser uses an ultra-compact green laser with a wavelength of 532 nm and an output of 50 mW, which has high stability and a sharp linewidth.
3. High sensitivity electronically cooled CCD detector
The electronically cooled CCD detector iVac-DR324B manufactured by Andor Technology is used as the detector.

5. Control software and data processing software
Spectrometer wavelength control, diffraction grating selection, slit width control, and CCD measurement control can be performed from a PC via USB. Data processing of the obtained Raman spectrum is possible. These controls can be done using a notebook PC.
