About This Product
■Summary
CARS (Coherent anti-Stokes Raman Scattering) CARS microscope system uses two pulsed lasers with different wavelengths to intersect within the sample using an objective lens, producing a Raman signal with high spatial resolution and good directionality. This is a microscope system that applies nonlinear optical effects that can obtain
CARS microscopes have become more familiar as ultrashort pulse lasers with large spire output and high repetition frequency and supercontinuum (SC) light become readily available.
■Features
By introducing an ultrashort pulse laser into a photonic crystal fiber, a laser that oscillates in a wide wavelength range from the visible region to the near-infrared region can be obtained. This light is called a white laser, and because it has become stable, it has become possible to obtain a wide range of Raman spectra in a short time.
Femtosecond pulse laser and nanosecond pulse laser can be used as probe light depending on the purpose of use. In addition, two-photon fluorescence, SHG, and THG can be obtained relatively easily using a femtosecond laser. CARS imaging is also possible using an automated stage.
■Device overview
This device consists of a front optical system unit and a microscope unit. LASER uses LEUKOS OPERA HP. An optical fiber is used to introduce the detector monochromator.
■Inside the microscope
The objective lens and sample stage are attached to the XYZ stage.
