About This Product
This is an excitation operated clutch that transmits torque through engagement of teeth. Since torque is transmitted through the meshing of teeth, it is small and can transmit extremely large torque. There are two types: full position, which engages anywhere around the circumference, and single position, which engages at only one point per rotation.
Furthermore, there are two types of tooth tip shapes: regular teeth and serrated teeth. Regular teeth can be used regardless of the direction of rotation, and serrated teeth can be connected at a higher relative speed than regular teeth.
