DBcaps® capsules help contain and blind control drugs in double-blind studies.

■Specially designed for clinical trials

Addressing the challenge of unbiased testing in clinical trials, DBcaps® capsules have been developed that are immediately recognizable when opened. Two types of coatings are available: gelatin or HPMC. Opaque DBcaps capsules with a large internal diameter are suitable for containment (filling) and blinding of large diameter or unusually shaped tablets and other control drugs. Additionally, the overall length of the capsule is short, making it easier to swallow.

The main features of this capsule are: - DBcaps® capsules are available in eight different sizes for double-blind testing with control drugs of various shapes and sizes. No need to split or crush the control drug or change the dosage form ・Careful filling of control drug increases patient compliance and tamper-proof design reduces bias ・Since there is no need to split or crush tablets, there is no need to consider preparations due to changes in dosage form. ・If safety is guaranteed over a long period of time, stability testing can be minimized and bioequivalence testing can be reduced or eliminated. ・Capsule colors can be selected from 5 standard colors, all of which are compatible with global standards, making it easy to comply with regulations. ・High quality - manufacturing process controlled in accordance with GMP, traceability of raw materials guaranteed

■Fiber-free cGMP packaging now available

DBcaps® capsules are available in small quantities and are delivered in fiber-free corrugated polypropylene containers. DBcaps® capsules are packaged in a sturdy recyclable box with anti-static treatment.
