■Summary
This is an authentication device that uses ``fingerprints'' from among biometrics (biological information) in place of passwords, etc., which are conventionally used for personal authentication. User authentication is performed using a 2D code and fingerprint without registering fingerprint data on the device itself.
Converts fingerprint patterns into 2D codes. Conventionally, fingerprint authentication systems involve registering an individual's fingerprint information in advance on a server, etc., and checking the registered information when the person presses their finger on a fingerprint sensor. It cannot be denied that there was some social resistance to handing out fingerprint information to others due to privacy concerns.
In order to solve this problem, there is a method to store fingerprint information on an IC card, but the high cost of IC cards has hindered their widespread use. VS codes are inexpensive because they can be printed on cards or stickers made of paper or plastic. In addition, when the customization function is used, it becomes a unique code, achieving high security that can only be read by specific software.
■Personal authentication card creation
Fingerprint data and personal information data are converted into two-dimensional codes and printed on cards. (At this point, no fingerprint data or personal data remains on the card creation device.)
■Personal authentication
First, insert your card into the authentication device (card reader). Next, by touching your finger to the fingerprint sensor, your fingerprint is verified against the 2D code printed on the card to authenticate your identity.

A fingerprint authentication system using two-dimensional codes that provides information more safely while ensuring a high level of security and improves student services. Insert your student ID card with a 2D code printed into the information terminal installed on campus and place your finger on the fingerprint sensor. Once your identity is authenticated, you can instantly and safely view your personal information, such as your grades and credits, stored on the university's servers.
It can also be used to manage class attendance and prevent identity theft.
2. Entry/exit control at security facilities
We work with gatekeepers at facilities that handle confidential data, in-house information management departments, medical institutions, etc. to authenticate individuals using fingerprints and 2D code authentication cards.
