About This Product

■Summary

A screw type flowmeter is a positive displacement flowmeter with two precision-machined helical gears built into the flowmeter body. Its features include a wide flow rate measurement range, extremely high accuracy/low pressure loss/low noise, and can be used with a wide range of fluids. The measurement principle is that fluid flows into the space formed by two helical gears inside the flow meter body, and the two gears rotate smoothly in response to the flow of fluid. There are two internal sensors that detect the rotation of the gear attached to the helical gear shaft and output a two-phase pulse signal with a 90° phase. This makes it possible to measure bidirectional flow with high precision. Additionally, the flowmeter itself has a mounting port for another sensor, making it possible to measure pressure and temperature at the same time as measuring flow rate.

■Explosion-proof type (ATEX) Overview

・All helical gear flowmeters have explosion-proof specifications. - Consists of a helical gear flowmeter and intrinsically safe electronic equipment (switching amplifier K-130), and is certified as intrinsically safe. ・The helical gear flowmeter is installed in the hazardous area, and the switching amplifier K-130 is installed in the safe area. - The helical gear flowmeter and switching amplifier are electrically connected and convert the signal from the sensor into a square wave. - Helical gear flowmeter and switching amplifier can be connected up to a maximum of 400m. - Signal input can be confirmed using the LED on the switching amplifier.
