About This Product

■Light guide plate type high brightness ring lightingThis is a light guide plate ring lighting that has changed the LED to a high output chip type and is 3 times brighter than our company's product. You can freely change the shape of the light emitting surface by laser cutting. (Standard products have holes of φ20, φ45, and φ50.) It is also possible to cut the shape to match the customer's workpiece. Integrated lighting is possible for multiple workpieces.

■Advantages of light guide plate ring illuminatorThe biggest advantage of light guide plate ring lighting is that the customer can freely arrange the opening. Although it is mainly used in bright field, it can also be used in dark field by maximizing the aperture of the light emitting part. Additionally, by using a large light guide plate ring light, multiple cameras can be used with a single illuminator, resulting in cost benefits in developing inspection equipment.

However, the disadvantage of a light guide plate ring is that it has fewer LEDs than a direct type ring, so there are cases where the illuminance is generally insufficient. However, in order to compensate for this shortcoming, Shimatec's VRDFR2 series of light guide plate ring lights has been developed using high-brightness LEDs and has a design that is comparable to the illuminance of ring lights from general manufacturers.

Additionally, when you request a demonstration machine, we can lend you the opening to suit your needs, so you can use it in conditions close to the actual machine.
