About This Product

■Role of LLC1. Preventing overheating
The heat generated during engine combustion is circulated and dissipated to maintain an appropriate temperature environment for the engine without overheating.

2.Anti-freezing effect
If only tap water is used, the volume increases when it freezes, which not only destroys the LLC path inside the engine, but also causes distortion and cracks in the engine itself. To avoid such a situation, we use LLC with antifreeze effect.

■Need for LLC maintenance1.The main component of LLC is ethylene glycol, which has antifreeze effect. Ethylene glycol itself hardly deteriorates, but as you can see from the table above, the additives necessary to maintain the performance of LLC, including the antifoaming agent with the highest overheat prevention effect, completely deteriorate after 5 years have passed since the car was new. It will be gone. This is also the case with the Super LLC that has been filling new cars in recent years.

2. ``LLC'' has the advantage of being usable throughout the year, but on the other hand, it requires regular replacement, cleaning, and replenishment of additives. The reason why replacement and cleaning is necessary is, as mentioned above, because the engine circulates to cool the engine, which gets hot, and especially in the winter, it is in a harsh environment where it suddenly heats up from below freezing to 200 to 300 degrees Celsius. This is because the various additive components for rust prevention are consumed and the rust prevention effect decreases.

Additionally, as LLC comes into contact with air in the reservoir tank, the main component, ethylene glycol, gradually oxidizes and corrosive substances are generated. For this reason, regular maintenance is required to prevent rust and corrosion from forming within the cooling system and prevent overheating.
