About This Product

Micro environment monitoring system monitors and manages the environment and security status of the server room via IP. Provides early warning before critical events become disasters.

■Summary

ENVIROMUX® Micro Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) monitors critical environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, presence of liquid water, power, intrusion, and smoke. When a sensor exceeds a configurable threshold, the system notifies you via email, web page, network management (SNMP), or SMS message (via email to SMS). The system works independently or as an IP connected remote sensor for E-2D/5D/16D. E-MICRO-T features a built-in temperature sensor, two RJ45 sensor ports for external temperature/humidity sensors, and two dry contact inputs. E-MICRO-TRHP features an integrated temperature/humidity sensor, two RJ45 sensor ports for external temperature/humidity sensors, two dry contact inputs, and built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE).

■Temperature monitoring

The most common environmental threat in a server room or wiring closet is heat. Detect significant temperature rises or falls and receive notifications when heating problems occur.

■Humidity monitoring

Detect abnormal humidity conditions. Define the appropriate humidity level for each sensor's environment.

■Detect the presence of water

Whether it's a tripped sprinkler system or a flash flood, server rooms and wiring closets are the last places you want to check for water. Get notified as soon as water appears.

■Physical security monitoring

Monitor "dry contact" devices such as motion sensors, door sensors, vibration sensors, and smoke detectors.

■Control power

Remotely reboot and control power (on/off) to servers and network devices.
