■What is an environmental monitoring system?

Environmental monitoring systems prevent hardware damage to server rooms, data centers, and network closets with critical condition alerts and remote restart capabilities.

■Temperature monitoring

The most common environmental threat in a server room or wiring closet is heat. Detect significant temperature rises or falls and receive notifications when heating problems occur.

■Humidity monitoring

Detect abnormal humidity conditions. Define the appropriate humidity level for each sensor's environment.

■Detect the presence of water

Whether it's a tripped sprinkler system or a flash flood, server rooms and wiring closets are the last places you want to check for water. Get notified as soon as water appears.

■Physical security monitoring

Monitor "dry contact" devices such as motion sensors, door sensors, vibration sensors, and smoke detectors.

■Control power

Remotely reboot and control power (on/off) to servers and network devices.
