About This Product

In the petrochemical and fine chemical fields, Tokabait equipment is often used to recover hydrochloric acid, a by-product produced in chlorination reactions of organic compounds.

■Process

- Rectification method: Often used when the HCl concentration in the inlet gas is relatively high, 100% HCl gas is recovered using a combination of a wet wall absorption tower and a packed stripping tower. Additionally, by installing an absorption tower at the gas outlet, it can be recovered as hydrochloric acid (35%). -Extractive distillation method: This process is used when the HCl concentration in the inlet gas is low and the absorbed hydrochloric acid concentration is low (eg, less than 20%), or when there is no HCl gas source. Can be recovered as 100% HCl gas or hydrochloric acid (35%). ・Adiabatic absorption tower: This is a device that distills the absorbed liquid using the large amount of heat generated when HCl gas is absorbed by water, and performs the two operations of absorption and distillation simultaneously with one piece of equipment. What's more, this can be done without heat entering or exiting from the outside. This is an efficient device that can separate impurities such as organic substances and chlorine gas from HCl gas and recover them as purified hydrochloric acid.
