About This Product

Synthetic hydrochloric acid production equipment, which is now widely used in the chemical industry, has been demonstrating the excellent properties of graphite products for more than 40 years, since it was introduced to replace the fused quartz and ceramic equipment that had been used before. Although it has been well received by users as an efficient and economical device that takes full advantage of this, we have completed an even more economical and high-performance device.

■Features

・Since the combustion chamber and absorption tower are integrated, it is compact and requires less floor space, less than one-third of the conventional type. ・Wide operating range (with conventional equipment, the operating limit was around 50% of the maximum capacity, but with this equipment, stable operation is possible down to 15% or less) ・Since the combustion chamber is made of heat-resistant talkabait, heat can be completely recovered even when the cooling water is hot, resulting in a large energy-saving effect. ・The flame condition is stable and it can be operated very efficiently. ・The supply pressure of raw material gas (hydrogen gas, chlorine gas) can be operated under almost the same conditions as conventional equipment. ・Since absorption cooling towers are multi-tubular, maintenance and management are easy.

■Structure

・Burner nozzle: The main part is a double-tube structure made of quartz. Chlorine gas is passed inside and hydrogen gas is passed through the outside, and the flame is combusted downward. ・Combustion chamber: The main body is a cylinder made of heat-resistant Tokabait, the outside is covered with a steel jacket, and cooling water is passed between. Inside the combustion chamber, absorbed water flows down from the top along the inner wall, absorbing hydrogen chloride gas and at the same time protecting the cylinder inner wall from high temperatures. A viewing window is attached to the top for inspecting the burner flame and for ignition at the start of operation, and a safety rupture disc (manufactured by Talkabait) is attached to the bottom. ・Absorption cooling tower: This is a multi-tube type system in which the absorption liquid forms a thin film along the inner surface of the tubes and flows down, and hydrogen chloride gas is passed in parallel to absorb it. It is the same as conventional equipment, but the operating range is By increasing the number of stages as necessary, it is possible to reduce the maximum capacity to 15% or less. ・Recovery tower: A countercurrent packing type (carbon Raschig ring filling) cooling absorption tower made by Tokabait, which efficiently absorbs unabsorbed hydrogen chloride gas.
