About This Product
The 5485C is designed to be used continuously as a moving coil speed converter at temperatures up to 375°C. Operating virtually friction-free on a coil suspension, it allows accurate measurements over a wide range of amplitudes and frequencies. Additionally, the structure is designed to withstand measurement environments that vibrate strongly or cross-vibrate, such as in gas turbines.
The coil bobbin is held in place by two twist-free springs with good frequency response. Electromagnetic damping is used to reduce air damping, which tends to cause friction, and to better detect vibration amplitudes at low frequencies.
■The sensor has two types of cable shapes.
・Built-in sheathed cable
・Sheathed cable with removable 2pin MIL connector
The case is made of stainless steel, and the internal structure is sealed to ensure durability even in harsh environments. ``5485C'' is approved for use in ``ZONE 2/DIV 2'' level explosion-proof areas without a safety barrier. It is also approved for use in explosion-proof areas of "ZONE 0,1/DIV 1" by using an appropriate safety barrier.
