About This Product

■I believe that considering the risk of fire is to protect life.

We want to provide greater peace of mind to people working at all construction sites. The product that was born from this idea is Nippon Aqua's “Aquamoen NEO.” Aquamoen NEO reduces on-site fire accidents to zero.

■Development story

We want to provide greater safety and security to people working at all construction sites. The product born from this idea is Aquamoen NEO by Japan Aqua. Since its release, Aquamoen NEO has received high praise from customers and established a new position as a non-combustible insulation material.How did it come to be? And how was this new value delivered to customers? A story in which the development leader looks back on the past of “Aquamoen NEO” and talks about future challenges.

■Pyrogenicity test (corn calorimeter test) ISO5660-1

Nippon Aqua has introduced a heat generation tester, which is an evaluation item for noncombustible materials under the Building Standards Act. The testing machine heats the material with a cone heater, ignites and burns the generated gas with a spark ignition, and measures the oxygen concentration of the combustion gas to determine the amount of heat generated and the rate of heat generation. We also check to see if there are any cracks, penetrations, etc. that are harmful to fire safety in the test specimens.

■ Standards for heat generation test Radiant heat amount 50kW/m2

1, Total calorific value 8MJ/m2 or less 2.The maximum heat generation rate shall not exceed 200kw/m2 continuously for more than 10 seconds. 3.There are no cracks or penetrations that are harmful to fire prevention. Test time: 20 minutes for non-flammable, 10 minutes for semi-flammable, 5 minutes for flame retardant

■Looking for a test location

Burner tests and welding and fusing tests cannot be conducted everywhere, and it was initially difficult to find testing facilities, but it met the needs of the general contractor, and when we launched the product on the market, they provided us with testing locations, accelerating development. I did.

■Toward a construction site without fire accidents

It can be installed at any construction site where urethane foam is used, regardless of its shape.
