About This Product

■Features

This is a new generation drum-type testing machine that can measure dynamic tire ground pressure distribution using the FMS (small 3-component force sensor) built into the drum. By combining a φ3.2m steel drum with a large radius of curvature and a high-precision tire stand, it is possible to measure various traction forces generated between tires and the road surface in an environment similar to a flat road.

■Tire stand

The tire stand is equipped with various functions that reproduce the actual driving conditions of the vehicle, and the recorded data can be used to analyze tire transfer functions and convert various characteristics during operation into data.

■Freely set the driving surface

As an option, the steel drum can be equipped with a 3-component cleat force sensor to measure the force generated between the road surface and the tire when passing over the cleat. Additionally, by attaching a simulated road surface made of metal or resin to the outer circumference of the drum, the driving surface can be freely set.
