■What is heatstroke index (WBGT)?The Heat Stroke Index (WBGT) is an index that evaluates the heat stress experienced by people in hot environments, including heat stroke. If the heat stroke index (WBGT) is 28℃ or higher, it will be considered a "severe warning" and if it is 31℃ or higher, it will be "dangerous."

This wall-mounted/desktop heatstroke index meter/heatstroke index monitor AD-5693 is a product that does not use a black bulb (temperature). Temperature is determined from humidity based on "Figure 1. Relationship between WBGT, temperature, and humidity" in "Prevention Guidelines" Ver. 1 (2007).
