■Shaft analysis

The software allows to calculate several coaxial shaft deformations in combination with the nonlinear bearing stiffness of rolling bearings. In addition to deformations, forces, moments, equivalent stresses and bearing life, strength and eigenvalue calculations according to DIN 743 are possible (optionally gyroscopic effects can also be taken into account) The MESYS rolling bearing calculations according to ISO/TS 16281 and the MESYS ball screw calculations are fully integrated into the shaft calculation. All results for rolling bearings and ball screws are reflected in shaft calculations.

■The following calculations are possible

・Define the shape of the inner and outer diameters as several coaxial shafts using cylindrical or conical elements Define loads using forces/moments or easy-to-use elements like helical, bevel or worm gears ・Define rigid support, springs, and nonlinear rolling bearings as constraint conditions ・Import shaft shape as 2D-DXF or 3D-STEP ・Static calculation of uncertain systems ・Calculate deformation considering shear deformation and shaft deformation considering nonlinear rolling bearings ・Calculation of natural frequencies and optional 3D animation of gyroscopic effects, Campbell diagrams, critical speeds, and mode shapes ・Calculation of frequency response to periodic loads such as unbalance ・Calculation using load spectrum ・Strength calculation according to DIN 743 (2012) ・Integration with calculations for rolling bearings according to ISO/TS 16281 Integration with calculations for ball screws ・Select a rolling bearing from the database or input the bearing shape directly ・Diagrams related to deformation, force, moment, and equivalent stress ・Parameter survey function that outputs in table format and graph format ・Integrated definition with housing stiffness matrix ・Import of housing geometry as 3D-STEP, automatically meshed and defined as housing stiffness matrix (optionally with modal model) ・Can be extended to system calculations combined with gear pairs Both videos and tutorials are available for introduction. The calculation software is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean.
