Takelan DO has the power to sequester not only organic solvents but also very small amounts of metal ions that exist in plastics, rubber, etc. Sequestering metal ions not only improves insulation and prevents deterioration due to oxidation, but also improves heat resistance and weather resistance by using Takelan DO's metal complexes in combination with halogen flame retardants. It is also possible to reduce the amount of halogen gas generated during molding.

Due to its metal ion sequestration effect, Takelan DO can be added to metal pastes, etc. to suppress the agglomeration of metal particles and the formation of poorly soluble salts, and stabilize the paste as a strong dispersant.
