About This Product

■FeaturesSmallbots are small robots that can be programmed with Arduino and run on a desk. It is assembled and ready to move. Even with the pre-written program at the time of shipment, you can try reacting to the distance to walls and obstacles using the ultrasonic distance sensor on the top, running/stopping with the sound of clapping hands, and tracing lines using the brightness sensor on the bottom. .

The controller board is an Arduino-compatible RDC, so of course you can program it freely using Arduino.

Comes with a paper protective cover. You can draw on the cover with a pen, etc. You can also easily replace it by turning the knurled screw. Try designing it on cardboard, using the original cover's size and hole position as a reference. There are also two pin headers that can be attached to servos, so the functionality can be expanded to include robots that wave flags or doodle with a pen. Sensors can also be added via I2C.

It has a simple structure, so once you get used to how to use it, you can disassemble it and make it into a robot of your choice.

*For use only on smooth floor surfaces such as desks and uneven flooring. When moving it on a desk, be careful not to drop it.

Obstacle avoidance using ultrasonic waves has been changed as follows.
・After changing direction 3 times in a row, turn to the opposite side 6 times (hereinafter, change direction every 6 times)
・The next direction to turn is the same direction as the last direction to turn.

■Exercise type where you can program while observing the movement of real objects-Insert the battery and turn on the power and it will work.
- With 3 operating modes, 1 starts when you turn on the power, and switches in order when you press the button. The current operating mode is determined by the status of the LED.
・Adjust programming using the slider. Adjustments can be made without using a computer.
