■The light source is 360° and the light distribution angle is 220°, making it the perfect spread of light for indoor lighting.The light distribution angle of the LED is strongest in a straight line directly below, and the light becomes weaker as you move away from that point. In other words, even if the light distribution angle is 120°, the light within that range is not uniform and becomes a spotlight-like light source. On the other hand, the light source of CCFL is 360°, which is the same as a fluorescent lamp. Solana's FDL40L has a light distribution angle of 220° and can provide uniform light within that range.

■Uses high-quality CCFL for LCD use, providing natural, gentle light without glare.The LEDs used in typical LED fluorescent lights are a pseudo-white color that combines blue LEDs and yellow phosphors, giving the light a slightly yellowish tinge that feels strange. The color rendering (Ra) is also around 70 to 80 on average, and some colors are difficult to reproduce, so the color rendering is not very good.

On the other hand, CCFL is a 3-wavelength light source similar to fluorescent lights, and is used as a backlight source for LCD TVs, and is recognized around the world for its color reproducibility. It has a high color rendition (Ra) and does not cause glare or irritation to the eyes.

■Cover uses crystal tube (improved polycarbonate).Achieves a luxurious feel that you wouldn't expect from polycarbonate. It is specially processed to have high hardness and is very light. Also, the light tube will not bend or warp. Fingerprints do not easily stick to the light tube, so there is no problem even if you touch it with your bare hands. The oxygen index of the light tube is 29.4%, passing the standards for "flame retardant materials." It will not break even if dropped.

■You can choose the lighting color from 3 colors・Daylight color: Refreshing light. This is the color where you can feel the freshness of CCFL the most.
- Daylight white: This is the closest to fluorescent light and is recommended. It is the most popular color in Japan.
