■SummaryThis is a highly designed construction method that uses a membrane material for the elevation, which forms the face of the building.The flexibility of the membrane material creates a three-dimensional shape that completely changes the concept of exterior walls. In addition to its good design, it also has functionality such as energy saving and ease of renovation, and has been attracting a lot of attention both domestically and internationally in recent years.

■Design workThe work of developing triangles of different sizes with different support heights into production drawings took much more time than expected. The number of production drawings exceeded 500, but the person in charge was patient until the end and completed the job perfectly.

■Steel processingAll employees from our three factories (head office, Kita-Kanto No. 1 and No. 2 factories) worked together to create the steel frame. The arrow shape inevitably causes the heat from welding to concentrate on one side, resulting in considerable distortion. The work to straighten it took three times the time originally expected.

■Panel processingWe set up a new temporary factory on our premises to carry out the process of assembling the cut shapes into a triangular shape. Inside the temporary factory, everything is divided into areas, including the storage area for mold materials, finished product storage, plate storage, and even individual tools, to ensure thorough efficiency and quality control.

■Factory temporary assemblyWe voluntarily decided to carry out temporary assembly in the factory, and as we had received requests from customers to check the details in advance, we also conducted an inspection of the temporary assembly. Although it was costly, we were able to discover new problems and make improvements, we were able to discuss the details with the customer while looking at the actual product, and most importantly, we realized that we had made mistakes in the manufacturing method that we had been working on until then. I believe it was worth the cost to do it because I was convinced that it had not happened.

■ConstructionEven though we temporarily assembled the panels at the factory to check the quality, this does not mean that all the panels were assembled. Due to the occurrence of wrinkles, tension was reintroduced on-site and the membrane was replaced. To ensure the customer's satisfaction until the very end, our in-house inspectors inspected each and every panel from the ground, in the air, and indoors. Through the accumulation of these inspection processes, we have achieved a finished product that we can hand over with confidence.
