About This Product

■Summary

Andor's Zyla 5.5 sCMOS camera provides fast, sensitive imaging performance in an exceptionally lightweight and compact electronically cooled design. Zyla is ideal for many cutting-edge applications that push the limits of speed, delivering even faster frame rate performance with up to 100 fps and ROI. A cost-effective USB 3.0 version is available, delivering 40 fps and 0.9 e-rms read noise, making it one of the most widely used devices in the industry, ideal for microscopy and physical science applications such as research or OEM. It is an upgraded camera solution for low-light systems that have been developed. Zyla 5.5's rolling and global (snapshot) shutter readouts ensure maximum application flexibility. In particular, global shutter provides an important "still image" exposure mechanism like interline CCD and overcomes the transient readout nature of rolling shutter mode. The Andor GPU Express library was developed to simplify and optimize data transfer from cameras to CUDA-enabled NVidia GPU (Graphical Processing Unit) cards and accelerate GPU processing as part of the acquisition process.
