About This Product

■Summary

・StrobeLock is an extension of the alpha300 series that enables time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC). ・TCSPC records time-resolved luminescence and fluorescence decay after pulse excitation. Time-resolved fluorescence observation (TLM) records the intensity decay at each measurement point. ・Each attenuation can be measured using various parameters. ・The image is color-coded according to the specified parameters, showing differences in sample release behavior depending on location, such as monotonous decrease and multi-exponential relaxation time. ・For example, if you extract the lifetime of fluorescent molecules, you can obtain a fluorescence lifetime image (FLIM). - Combining time-resolved data with Raman, AFM, and SNOM images can yield additional information about the target sample.

■Advantages of Strobe Lock

・Accurate time-resolved measurement of fluorescence and other luminescence decay is possible. ・Fluorescence of the sample by pulsed laser and electrically excited luminescence by pulse generator ・Adjustable excitation pulse frequency (up to 100MHz) ・Device response speed: 120 ps or less ・Total control and analysis using WITec FIVE software ・Easy to use combination options with Raman, AFM, and SNOM

■Time-resolved luminescence microscopy (TLM)

・Time-resolved luminescence microscopy (TLM) can investigate and image the emission characteristics of devices such as LEDs. -The luminescence excited by the electric pulse generator and its intensity are recorded in a time-resolved manner. - Therefore, the relaxation time and response time can be calculated and visualized at each measurement point. ・TLM can be used for LED quality control, etc.

■Fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM)

・FLIM image results display the spatial distribution in the sample by color-coding the fluorescence lifetime. ・By combining with other imaging techniques such as Raman, AFM, and FLIM, more information can be obtained from a single sample.
