About This Product

■Summary

Synthetic fibers such as polyamide, polyester, and nylon are often coated with an oil-based coating (spin finish, OPU) to reduce static electricity, reduce friction, and improve other physical properties. Proper control of coating levels is a critical point in optimizing the manufacturing process. TD-NMR (Time Domain Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) is a clean, fast and accurate technique for determining the content of finishing agents. It is an effective alternative to traditional wet chemical techniques, which are time-consuming, use hazardous chemicals, and require more skilled technical staff. Additionally, TD-NMR can accurately measure low concentrations of finishing agents that cannot be measured accurately using solvent extraction methods.
