-Andor Solis (i) is a software platform designed for image acquisition and analysis.
-Used in a wide range of scientific fields such as fluorescence imaging, Bose-Einstein condensation, fluorescent dye single molecule identification, upper atmosphere observation, X-ray analysis, and Raman imaging.
- Solis (i) supports edge detection algorithms including first derivative (Sobel, Kirsch, Prewitt, Robinson), second derivative, and RobertsCross.
- Average, median, and Gaussian smoothing filters are available, and low-pass and high-pass frequency filters are available.
Solis (i) offers full control of the camera with a variety of triggers including pixel readout speed, horizontal and vertical binning, exposure time, preamp settings, and electron multiplication gain (EMCCD compatible systems).
-Use the software's Region of Interest (ROI) feature to capture and graph parameters such as maximum value, mean value, and standard deviation in real time during a series of dynamic image acquisitions.
