The Optosplit image splitter is sold by Andor as part of its dual wavelength imaging portfolio. This is a simple device that allows one camera to capture images of two different wavelengths simultaneously. Traditionally, electronic filter changers and second cameras have been used, but these may not be optimal for some applications. Optosplit is designed as a convenient and inexpensive solution for simultaneous dual wavelength imaging. Optosplit features a rotating mirror cradle with adjustable spatial separation, which facilitates image registration.
