Mosaic is the perfect tool for photostimulation applications such as optogenetics, photophysiology, photobleaching/photoactivation, and uncaging. This patented combination of digital mirror devices for use under the microscope provides fast targeting of complex light patterns onto the sample. In optogenetics, spatial control of target proteins can be achieved by simultaneously combining activation and inhibition wavelengths.
