An amazing metal that melts and solidifies at 70℃

In recent years, there has been remarkable progress in peripheral equipment such as machine tools and cutting tools, but even with such ultra-precision machines and high-performance tools, there are products that have shapes that are difficult to machine without various ingenuity. Jig metal can be used as an auxiliary material for such processing, making it possible to perform processing that was previously impossible.

■Features・It melts and hardens at the temperature of hot water (70℃).
・Jig metal is metal. It has the strength and texture of metal.

■How to useYou can easily melt jig metal by placing it in a metal cup and boiling water in a pot. The removed jig metal can be melted again and reused as many times as needed.

■Used as a reinforcing material for pipe precision machiningUsed as a reinforcing core material for turning thin-walled pipes (can be gripped with a hydraulic chuck).With its strength, thin-walled shapes can be cut at high speed. By using it as a reinforcing material for fine milling of thin-walled pipes at a machining center, you can take on the challenge of machining that you had previously given up on.

■Used as internal and external support material for pipe bendingBy using it as an internal or external support material for various metal pipes, including copper pipes, you can prevent the pipes from bending or collapsing. It enables reliable processing of fragile materials by using it as a reinforcing material.

■Used as a reinforcing material for lattice-like hollow thin rib processing.By using it as a reinforcing material when processing thin ribs or thin pockets, it prevents chattering and enables processing that has never been possible before.
