Drop-lid gutter that eliminates noise, reduces costs, and improves workability

■Cost reduction・Since they are slimmer than conventional side gutters, they reduce the amount of excess soil and require less heavy equipment, which improves workability and shortens construction periods, leading to overall cost reductions.
・As they are lighter than conventional gutters, they are easier to handle during construction, allowing for smoother work and improved workability. The lighter weight of the lid also makes it easier to maintain and manage during construction. (For sidewalk use, it is even lighter at 23 kg)

■Increase in sidewalk widthBecause they are slimmer than conventional gutters, the width of the sidewalk can be expanded.

■Prevention of lid rattling noiseThe rattling of conventional gutter covers causes noise, which is a major problem when vehicles are running at night or in urban areas. Furthermore, loose lids can lead to concrete damage and early deterioration, which is very dangerous for pedestrians. FX gutters have a special contact sound deadening technology called TS (Triple Support), which provides soundproofing effects and makes streets quieter.

■TS (Triple Support) functionConventional gutter systems with lids placed on the horizontal plane were vulnerable to impact noise caused by twisting or chipping of the lid when the vehicle was running. The FX gutter uses the "TS function" to eliminate rattling and popping up of the lid. The "TS function" means that the load that causes the lid to flip up is supported in a line by the "slope" of the lid and the "curved surface" of the gutter. This keeps the lid stable.

Furthermore, the 2 and 3 fit points on the side of the lid prevent the lid from shifting horizontally and further increase stability.
