About This Product

Ensures the safety of people who are left behind in hazardous areas and those who approach machinery.

■Length 5m, detection angle 270°
One unit can safely protect a wide area (270 degrees) and a long length (5 m), so it can be used in a wide range of situations, such as large equipment that uses robots and long conveyor lines.

■Achieving both productivity and safety
The SE2L type is a safety sensor that can detect proximity. The stopping area can be reduced by detecting approach in an additional protected area and initiating deceleration.
*Can also be used with 1 protection area and 2 warning areas as before.

■Industry's first master-slave function
Master-slave control is possible via RS-485 communication. Since input and output are integrated, up to 4 devices can be treated as one.


It is possible to detect human intrusion by allowing only workpieces to pass through.

■Dual protection function
Entrance into two hazardous areas can be monitored separately and the machine can be stopped. There is no need for troublesome optical axis alignment using reflective sensors, etc., and one unit can function as two light curtains.

■Maintains safety even if there is an unexpected positional shift
The reference monitor function allows safety to be ensured by detecting status changes such as positional shifts and door opening/closing.

Safety measures can be taken at the work entry entrance. Furthermore, it is easy to recover from a stop during muting.


Prevents human accidents due to collisions and cargo collapse due to sudden stops.

■Ensuring safety in up to 32 types of areas
With automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), etc., up to 32 types of protection areas can be set and switched according to the surrounding environment, achieving optimal protection in a variety of environments.

■Use distance measurement data
Distance measurement data can be output from the Ethernet port while providing safety protection, and information on obstacles in the surrounding environment can be obtained.

■Monitoring of external output devices
Compatible with encoder input
